Once a user has their Love Score, the next question is almost always what does it mean? Love Meter answers that question with a five-band Couple Type vocabulary that gives every score a personality. Rather than leaving users to interpret a raw percentage, Love Meter maps the score into one of five named archetypes, each with its own visual treatment and conversational tone.

The five Love Meter Couple Types are arranged by score band. At the low end sits Opposites in Orbit — a playful framing for pairs whose differences create constant gentle friction. Above that is Slow-Burn Pair, the band for connections that deepen quietly over months rather than sparking instantly. In the middle sits Playful Chemistry, the most common band on Love Meter and the one users most often screenshot. Near the top is Magnetic Match, the band reserved for high-chemistry pairings. At the very top sits Power Couple, the rarest Love Meter archetype, reserved for the small slice of pairings that land near the ceiling of the score range.

The banded approach inside Love Meter is doing quiet but important work. A user who lands in Playful Chemistry does not feel punished for not reaching Power Couple — they feel categorized into a vocabulary that is itself appealing. A user who lands in Opposites in Orbit is gently reframed toward curiosity rather than disappointment.
